Wimbledon on social media: some infographics

From Twitter itself, we learn that match favourite but eventual loser Novak Djokovic was also the loser in terms of the number of tweets about him, with Andy Murray peaking at over 37,000 tweets per minute at one point.

London students plot new social network launch

Social scientist Edward Heywood, computer engineer Peregrine Park, and business management student Sharan Soni have put their skills together to create Urban Cloud – “a social network that unites people on a platform designed to promote collaboration”.
