Twitter Launches Photo Filters To Rival Instagram
Following the end of Instagram integration, the micro-blogging network have now launched their own photo-filter product to challenge Instagram’s domination of mobile photography.
You can now add filters to your Twitter photos courtesy of a partnership with Aviary. The launch offering includes eight filters covering the expected range of vintage and black and white effects. The filters also include effects such as ‘cool’, ‘warm’, vignette’, ‘cinematic, ‘happy’ and ‘gritty’.
The interface is reminiscent of iPhoto with its magic wand instant enhancement function and the filter preview which displays how your photo would look with all of the filters at once.

Instagram Update App, Adding New Filter
On the same day Instagram have released a significant update to their iOS app with major interface tweaks making using photos from camera roll easier, the whole photo-taking process smoother and adding a new filter – Willow – which is a low-contrast black & white filter giving a softer B&W touch than the existing Inkwell.
