Great infographic here from Diffbot breaking down all that is being shared on Twitter after it took a look at 750,000 tweets.

For instance as many as 36% of tweets include an image and only 16% an article — thought that would be higher.

In this analysis UK sites do well in the content being shared with the BBC and The Guardian among the most shared content sites. Reuters and CNN are also in there.

No surprise that almost 70% of tweets are in English with Japanese as the next biggest language on 7%. Twitter as we have written before here remains big in Japan.
