Intel encourage Facebook engagement with #Ultrabook Instagram campaign
Chip Maker Intel have launched a Facebook campaign encouraging Instagram users to tag their pictures #ultrabook. The incentive is to have their picture featured on the official Instagram Facebook Page reaching well over 11 million fans.
This campaign is not the first to use Instgram as a means of sharing images for competitions. British band, Elbow ran a competition requesting picture submissions for different song titles and Ford have have previously used Instagram to power their Fiestagram competition last year.
The connection of both social networks allows the brand to leverage engagement from two overlapping audiences, making it easy for audiences to interact with the brand. With images being some of the most engaging content for Facebook fans, this competition will also give Intel a ready made stream of valuable content to use.
