83 million Facebook accounts revealed as fake as stock continues to slide

Earlier this year Facebook admitted that as many as 5% to 6% of the accounts on its social network were fictitious or duplicates. That would have meant that more than 40 million of its 845m monthly active users are fake.

 Chip Maker Intel have launched a Facebook campaign encouraging Instagram users to tag their pictures #ultrabook. The incentive is to have their picture featured on the official Instagram Facebook Page reaching well over 11 million fans.

Twitter Olympics: Twitter explodes in celebration as Wiggins takes Gold [infographic]

The Men’s Time Trial generated a total of 240,000 tweets, peaking at 12,000 per minute as Wiggins won – more than at the start of the Euro 2012 penalty shootout when Italy knocked out England. Read More »

The New Digital InfluencersBlogging is dead Jason Calacanis said a few months ago. Even the New York Times wrote that “Blogs Wane as the Young Drift to Sites Like Twitter”.
