Which one are you? Geeks versus Nerds [infographic]
A wonderful infographic here detailing the difference between geeks and nerds.
You really wouldn’t want to be the nerd in all of this. While the geek has his ironic t-shirts, and interest in film (from high brow to low brow) the nerd is socially inept and introverted and might be into larping (I had to Google this).
Although nerds are probably also interested in Battlestar Galactica, which everyone should be into as it was one of the best TV shows in recent years.
It also has great stats. A whopping 17% of Americans identify themselves as geeks. That’s a gadget army. Unsurprisingly 87% prefer the term geek over nerd. Although I’m guessing Sheldon from ‘The Big Bang Theory’ prefers the term uber nerd.
