Got news? How do you communicate it?

Recently I had a big announcement to share with family, friends and colleagues.

My son Truman Fraser Devaney was born June 1st.

Planning how to announce this news to everyone became a real challenge of thinking who likes to use what form of communication. According to the All Facebook blog, the world’s most engaged Facebook page – a measure based on ‘likes’, ‘shares’ and comments – is a page called Jesus Daily.

Cambridge study finds new way of predicting social media friendships

Interesting new study from the University of Cambridge that has found a new way of predicting which people may become friends your friends on social networks – based on the type of places they visit.

To date, most social networking sites like Facebook and LinkedIn have relied upon the ‘friend-of-a-friend’ approach to try and determine which people may have connections with one another – but Cambridge looked at the places people visit. Read More »
