How different age groups interact across the social web [infographic]
Good infographic here from online community moderation firm Community 102 that looks at how different age groups interact online across the social web.
There might be some surprise to find out that the most active social media age range is 35-44 year olds (25%) in comparison to 9% of 18-24 year olds.
Less surprise that the biggest group of Facebook users are aged between 18-25 (29%). We already knew that Twitter was older — biggest group there: are 26-34 year olds (30%).
A couple more stats: average LinkedIn user is 44 years old and average Twitter user is 39 years old. Enjoy.
