Ford Europe runs first brand competition on Google+
Google+ has been with us for less than a week, but brands are experimenting with advertising. Ford Europe is running a competition to win a copy the rallying console game Dirt.
Pretty simple idea they have published a picture and you add you comment underneath. The comment with the most +1 signs wins.
It already has a fair few comments giving you an idea that people are not only signing up to Google+ but that the are engaging with it to.
It is also very early on to see advertisers signing up with a nice little social campaign. HT @KatieMoffat.

Great to see ford jumping in feet first! Why not – its a nifty idea and at least they aint trying to get +1 on their pages – they have embraced the social community!

Shame nobody at Ford read the terms and conditions for Google+ which expressly forbids promoting a prize in return for +1s
