Diesel makes Facebook look like Excel with its slacker app

It’s another cool social media campaign from Diesel and while it won’t appeal to everyone it is definitely worth a look.

Diesel of lovely jeans fame has created this downloadable application for Macs and PCs that makes Facebook look like an Excel Spreadsheet. It is part of Diesel’s “stupid” campaign and its your chance to be “stupid” at work. Read More »

Coca-Cola turns to Facebook Places for Recycling King campaign

This is a very neat idea from Coca-Cola which has used Facebook Places, Facebook’s Foursquare rival, to increase awareness for recycling plastic bottles.

It created “The Recycling King” idea and added over 10,000 recycle bins locations in Isreal to the Facebook Places system. So no matter where you are in Israel, you can find a Recycle bin near you. Read More »

Foursquare celebrates passing the 10 million member mark [infographic]

Location-based check-in service Foursquare has put together this infographic to celebrate the fact that it now has more than 10 million members world wide.

The interactive infographic and map shows a series of dots that slowly spread around the globe with each one representing a user and the growth of the two year old company. It also shows the top brands in terms of check-ins. Read More »

A letter from Sean Connery to Steve Jobs, no 007 Apple ad

This is a letter that Sean Connery never wrote in response to Steve Jobs after being asked to appear in an Apple ad. Clearly it is a fake, but it very funny.
