Interactive video calls are on their way to customer care
Many e-commerce sites offer live chat with salespeople, but Swedish telecoms operator, 3 Sweden, is going one step further with interactive video calls.
Through a custom multi-touch interface, the company’s new 3LiveShop aims to give online customers virtually the same service they’d get in store.
With just the touch of a finger, the salesperson can drag a product onto the screen, demonstrate its features and drag it into the customer’s shopping cart.
