The true currency of social media [infographic]
What a great infographic that delves into the key issues that brands face on social media. Is it all about followers? Are those 19 million fans you have collected worth their social media weight? And should every brand be social?
This is one to take a good read of. It inlcudes a bunch of great social media case studies looking at brands such as Starbucks, Dunkin Doughnuts, Axe, Clinque, Budweiser and Wendy’s. Enjoy.

The biggest question here is: are these figures correct?
Who have they asked…. when did they ask them?
I find it hard to believe that a brand who has three!!! sqaure!!! patties on a bun is believed to communicate in a truthful way about their products.
Either people are very stupid, or the results of this survey were done among a a) not relevant TA or b) not respresentative TA.
But to blindly believe every stat that is thrown at you without any evidence that it is measured in a correct way is somewhat naive.

I love that it’s such a sweet graphic. I am always looking for ways to explain socialmedia to people who are new to th idea, and this is a great one!!
