News Corp plans to slash MySpace in “dramatic downsizing”

Well we had the relaunch of MySpace and the rumours News Corporation was open to offers for its social media site and now there is talk that the media giant plans to dramatically downsize it.

Reddit to have big 2011 as Digg wanes

Looks like social bookmarking site Reddit, already a favourite among a lot of social web users, is going to have a stellar 2011 as it reveals a huge increase in pageview traffic.

According to a blog post Reddit’s pageviews leapt from 250 million in January 2010 to 829 million in December or put another way that’s an increase of more than 23o%. Read More »
