Real time Facebook newspaper PostPost is launched
Data and app firm TigerLogic has launched a real-time social newspaper on Facebook called PostPost — that is being called a news aggregator for “the social generation”.
It’s pretty cool. PostPost turns your Facebook newsfeed created out of the links, pics and video clips that your friends share on Facebook into a digital newspaper.
PostPost is like “the Huffington Post of Facebook but instead your friends are the contributors, hunting down the latest and greatest news and media”.
Think Paper.li for Twitter, mobile app Pulse or the iPad app Flipboard, but with Facebook and looking a lot better with it.
Some people are increasingly using these type solutions to replace RSS (do people other than journalists still use it?).
PostPost features advanced search technology powered by yolink (created by TigerLogic) where users can search deeply within all of their news articles across disparate sources.
The first version of PostPost was created as a weekend project by entrepreneur Peter Yared, VP of apps at Webtrends before being developed as a product by TigerLogic.
Really worth checking out, I like the logo too — reminiscent of the New York Post…

Excellent post Polly. Do you know if there are any plans to make personal PostPost Facebook digital newspapers available to a public audience? Would love to try it out with our newspaper.
BTW, what is your Twitter account? Tried to find you but no luck.
Thanks for that! It’s just the awsner I needed.
