A Coalition Christmas – broken promises says Labour
This is a neat little idea, it has probably been done before, but I like it. The Labour Party has put up a Coalition advent calendar on its website where each day reveals a broken promise.
Okay, so broken promises are not what anyone wants for the holiday season, but there is no denying that it is what some are getting courtesy of the Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition.
To counter accusations of bias I did look at what the coalition was up to in terms of digital festivities. On the Conservative Party site alas I could see no festive sign. Has it been cancelled?
Over on the Liberal Democrat’s website there is also no evidence of Christmas cheer, but there are signs of what the Lib Dems want in their stockings: new members and support for voting change.. Is that Nick Clegg standing around with students? He won’t be doing that again any time soon. I’m guessing they will be disappointed all round.
