Twitter ‘opinion leaders’ want fame

BBC Worldwide has done some interesting research in an attempt to work out how, why and what opinion makers spread information. It isn’t groundbreaking, but it does define in a succinct way some trends that most of us using social media will have noticed.

News of the World paywall goes live – will people pay for tabloid content?

Pop those champagne corks Rupert Murdoch has a new paywall. The News of the World turned its new site on last night charging £1 a day or £1.99 for a month.

The new clean and uncluttered looking website is a great improvement on the old one with its big bold images giving us a taste of what we might expect from the Sun when its paywall goes live next year. Read More »
